STATEMENT OF FAITH

We here at C4L believe that Jesus IS God manifest in the flesh. (1 Timothy 3:16) We believe that the Godhead is one God in 3 distinct persons (God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Ghost). We believe that Jesus IS the Saviour of the whole world. We believe that he shed his blood on a cross to pay for our sins ONCE for all time. (Romans 6:10; Hebrews 7:27; 9:25-28; 10:9-10, 12, 14; 1 Peter 3:18; Jude 3) We believe that he died and rose bodily from the dead and ascended back into heaven. We believe that the King James Bible is THE pure, preserved, inspired, inerrant, infallible words of God in the English language today...from the originals AND the copies. (2 Timothy 3:16)

We believe that man is lost and in need of Jesus as our Saviour. We believe that salvation is found only in simple faith and trust in Jesus and repenting of our sins toward God. (Luke 13:3; John 3:3, 14-18, 36; 6:38-40, 47) We believe that Jesus is the ONLY way into heaven. (John 14:6) We believe that we are saved by grace through faith. (Ephesians 2:8-9) We believe that we are justified by faith alone. (Romans 3:23-28; 4:5; Galatians 2:16) We believe in keeping the gospel message of salvation pure as found in Scripture and keeping any damnable heresies from creeping into the church body and kicking out any that have crept in already!

We believe that Scripture teaches that when we are born again the Holy Ghost comes into us and resurrects our dead spirit AND baptizes us, thus making us BORN AGAIN AND empowered with gifts of the Holy Ghost. We believe in a REAL literal Heaven and Hell as described in Scripture and that your spirit will go to ONE of those two places depending on whether or not you believe in and receive Jesus as your personal Saviour or not! (THERE IS NO PURGATORY)

The Book of Hebrews as written by Paul tells us that "...it is appointed unto men ONCE TO DIE, but AFTER this the judgment." (Hebrews 9:27) THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS REINCARNATION believers!!!!! That is a lie of the devil and is based in Eastern Mysticism! You have this ONE life folks to decide whether or not you want to receive Jesus as your personal Saviour. After you die there is NO second chance! Although you may hear the gospel message multiple times in your life time, you still only have this one life in which to decide your soul's eternal home of either heaven OR hell!

All praise and glory to Jesus the Christ (THE only Christ which means Anointed i.e. the Messiah) our Lord, God & Saviour!

"What must I do to be saved?"

Too many "Christian" websites that have a section (if they even have one at all) like this, sound like a lawyer wrote it! So, we here at Christ 4 Life Ministry felt the need to do a SIMPLE "how do I get saved" section! And why not? The gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ is simple after all. "But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ." (2 Corinthians 11:3 KJB)

1. We are saved by grace through faith:
"But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness." Romans 4:5 KJB

"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." Ephesians 2:8-9 KJB

2. God WILL forgive ANY and ALL sins:
"Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God." 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 KJB

"...and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from ALL sin." 1 John 1:7 KJB

3. God has a FREE gift for you:
"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 6:23 KJB

4. You MUST be born again: (spiritually born again)
"Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. " John 3:3 KJB

"It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life." John 6:63 KJB

"Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever." 1 Peter 1:23 KJB

"Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water (meaning natural birth first) and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again." John 3:5-7 KJB

5. The ONLY way to get into heaven is BY Jesus:
"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but BY ME." John 14:6 KJB

"Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved." Acts 4:12 KJB

6. Repent of your sins and believe on Jesus as your personal Saviour:
"The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel." Mark 1:15 KJB

"And they went out, and preached that men should repent." Mark 6:12 KJB

"I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish." Luke 13:3 KJB

"Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost." Acts 2:38 KJB

"Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord." Acts 3:19 KJB

"That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God." John 3:15-18 KJB

"I know the things that come into your mind, every one of them." Ezekiel 11:5 KJB

"For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies." Matthew 15:19 KJB

Your eternal salvation is based on acknowledging that you are a sinner before God. Then you must acknowledge what God did for you: by dying on a cross, he paid the sin debt you could NEVER pay by doing good deeds or being a good enough person; shedding his real blood for your sins! Jesus is God in human flesh, blood and bone and he did ALL the work for you, so you wouldn't have to! What an AWESOME God we have in Jesus the Christ, the Saviour of the whole world! Then repent of your sins toward God and be forgiven ONCE and for all.

This is NOT done by confessing your sins to a Catholic priest, who is a sinful, fallible man himself in need of saving, but directly to God! You have a free will, therefore the ability to choose to believe in Jesus or not! It is just that simple, just that black and white! Jesus IS the Lord, God and Saviour of the world and he is calling out to you right now to trust in him by faith alone! God wants a PERSONAL relationship with you through his Son Jesus, to forgive you of your sins, to wash you clean with his blood and indwell personally within you, where the Holy Ghost enters you and resurrects your dead spirit (and never leaves you), making you born again, and guarantees that your spirit will go to heaven when you die to be with Jesus for all eternity!!!!

Jesus IS God made flesh: where the Holy Ghost came down from heaven, entered a virgin named Mary, causing a supernatural pregnancy, where he was wrapped in flesh, blood and bone for 9 months and was born in the form of our Saviour Jesus!!! Jesus is all powerful, all knowing and everywhere at any time! Your faith in Jesus is the root of your salvation and the fruit of salvation is the works you do to glorify God!

"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." Romans 10:9-10 KJB

Call out to the Lord Jesus NOW while there is time, while you still draw a breath: "For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away." James 4:14 KJB

There is no set, formulaic prayer to say to be saved, just cry out to Jesus, to the effect of:

"God, thank you for sending Jesus to pay for my sins with his precious blood. Have mercy on me a sinner, who deserves eternity in the lake of fire! Lord Jesus I repent of all my sins, please forgive me for every wicked thing I have ever said, thought or done in my whole life. Jesus, I believe that you are the Son of God, the Saviour of the world. I believe that you died, was buried and rose again and ascended back into heaven! I receive you into my heart as my Saviour; fill me with your holy Spirit and guide me in all truth! I pray this is your name Jesus, Amen!"

With your new found faith in Jesus, you are TRULY a child of God, seated in heavenly places. Get a King James Bible and get into a KJB-centered, Christ-centered congregation and tell others how God saved you and impacted your life!!! The Holy Ghost (God) will make his home WITHIN YOU, will teach you the Scriptures (the KJB) and how it applies to your life!!! While there will be those who will be happy with what you have done, there will be those who will not be!! But do NOT fear them, God is with you and he will guide your steps through any and all trials and tribulations!!

It is God who does the saving, NOT a Catholic priest or Pope!! "It is BETTER to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man." Psalm 118:8 KJB

We will pray for you if you are an unbeliever on our site to come to Jesus by faith alone for salvation!!!
